Kiki Kamanu
Kiki Kamanu's collection was a crowd favourite, especially when everyone's favorite comedian, Chigul, stormed the runway in a fringed body conscious dress. Kamanu's 70's inspired collection was a mix of playful graphic t-shirts, that expressed featured the slogan 'Lagos is life', paired with fringe skirts.
Deji Eniola
Deji Eniola sent down models clad in androgynous suits with a touch of feminine detail. Embellished sleeves amongst other details drove home the message of strength and confidence.
Moofa
Moofa's SS17 cocktail options, which included embellished jumpsuits, were a new twist on an age-old look.
Amede
Amede's designs were our dream loungewear options. The light fabric is also a positive, especially for the weather in Nigeria.
Maxivive
Maxivive came to make a statement. His two-part presentation, which included designs from Maxivive and his diffusion line Bodun by Maxivive featured models marching in their multicolored crocs, faux locks and t-shirts that demanded 'more coke please'
Re'
With Mayowa Nicholas opening the show, Re's collection was the peak of day 2 of LFDW. In its entirety, the show encapsulated the carefree black girl with 'you can't see me' aesthetics. The pastel colors and prints also complimented the sporty-chic designs.
Gozel Green
Gozel Green's muted tones and high slits re-defined ladylike. The SS17 collection showcased looks that would be a staple in any woman's closet.
Siphosihle Masango
Siphosihle Masango's regal collection wowed the audience with embellished crown-like head and neck pieces.
Ejiro Amos Tafiri
Ejiro Amos Tafiri's ss17 penchant for glamor came full force in the designers SS17 collection. Deep hues of red, organza and cinched waists were the details that dominated this collection.
I am Isigo
Inspired by the Itsekiri people of Warri, I Am Isigo's SS17 collection featured red-clay colored tones and pinstripe suits.
