About

Ade Bakare Couture is a line of modern-made stylish clothes that has an international look with a unique African influence. Established in 1991, Ade started selling his collection twice a year (Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter). His clients were boutiques in various parts of England, Scotland, and the Channel Islands, Chic of Hampstead, Adele Davis of Bond Street, and Lucienne Phillips of Knightsbridge and Amersham. He has showcased his collections in Morocco, Cape Town, Mozambique, London, New York, and Paris, where he received an award.

Ade became involved in another aspect of the fashion industry when he created the perfume “Breeze” in 1998. This scent was inspired by his childhood days spent along the breezy West African coast of Lagos, Nigeria. He followed up the perfume with the introduction of Bakare Breeze, a moderately-priced diffusion line that offers a collection of bridal dresses. Ade Bakare’s designs are described as classic with a touch of modernity using fabrics such as wool, silk, lace, and crèpes celebrated for his gazar and organza sweep coats which are both ultra-feminine and luxurious.

He featured in the French fashion magazine in the duty Edition of Amina. Ade Bakare Signature fragrance contains woody and animalistic notes. Presented in a bottle engraved with Ade Bakare’s signature and enclosed in a black velvet pouch classic perfume.

Ade Bakare Couture London launched a new signature fragrance with a warm note and white Roses. It comes in a square bottle with a silhouette of Ade Bakare’s face in front of the bottle, packaged in black voile and a signature initial logo bag, very fetching. The 100ml scent is already available in London and was made available at the Lagos and Abuja (Nigeria) boutiques, mid-November in time for Christmas.
