Elfreda is a multidisciplinary artist, her design process is influenced by broad research seeking to incite conversations around cultural theory and conceptual art development.
Before a formal education in fashion design, she was the youngest designer at Africa Fashion Week London and Fashion Finest’s off-schedule London Fashion Week show in 2012.
Following her graduation from Ravensbourne University and experience at Hussein Chalayan and Wales Bonner, she launched her eponymous label in 2019.
Her graduate collection debuted at Graduate Fashion Week 2018 and went on to be selected as one of the final twenty-five graduates in the UK. Shortly after she taught the pattern cutting short course at Ravensbourne.
Eflreda is a contemporary brand exploring art, material and design innovation through fashion. Primarily influenced by the fusion of traditional and sub-cultural styles and techniques. Thereby creating a wardrobe with modernism, inclusivity and representation.
