Nigerian menswear designer Ugo Monye has been in the industry for over 10 years with his eponymous brand. The Ugo Monye brand started out as a unisex brand with more emphasis on female clients because designing for women allowed room for more creativity, however over time Ugo decided to focus on the menswear pieces because he was able to be creative, innovative and unique with men’s fashion.

Ugo Monye was recognized by Vanguard Allure Women and Fashion Awards as the Wedding Designer of the year 2017.
