About

ILI is a contemporary and sustainable fashion brand established in 2016 by Amali Curtis. Amali Curtis is a Nigerian-born fashion designer, entrepreneur, and content creator, trained as an architect, and worked briefly in a law firm.

She has been in many projects around the Nigerian fashion Industry since 2012. She worked as an intern with several brands, backstage at the most relevant fashion shows in Nigeria, collaborated on editorials for magazines, has written on fashion.

ILI focuses on expressing one’s individuality and essential nature by delivering well-tailored garments inspired by classic cuts and a wide range of fabrics that make their customers feel confident and fashionable.

ILI means clothes in the Idoma tribe in Benue State and her local dialect.

ILI is a sustainable brand because it sources its fabrics and produces locally, hence providing jobs for a range of artisans playing a role in contributing to the quality of our community economically.
