Our Purpose
SwapShop promotes a circular fashion economy through swapping, resale, and upcycling reducing textile waste and challenging fast fashion culture in Nigeria. It reflects Lagos fashion Week’s commitment to innovation, community, and sustainable practice.
How It Works
Participants donate clean, gently used garments before the event. Each piece is reviewed, graded, and sorted. Approved items earn color-coded tokens. Clothing racks are arranged by size, category, and designer for a smooth and fair swap experience. Pre-event drop-off points ensure convenience. All accepted garments are cleaned, sorted, and styled to maintain SwapShop’s boutique aesthetic.
Community & Partnerships
SwapShop thrives on collaboration. Sustainable designers and artisans lead hands-on workshops, while eco-conscious partners support activations like repair booths and recycling stations creating an interactive sustainability ecosystem.
Join the Movement
The #LagosFWswapyourstyle campaign invites fashion lovers to share their swap stories and join the conversation online. Designers, stylists, and influencers bring aspirational value to the experience, amplifying the message of conscious fashion.
